On November 5, Rafael Viñoly Architects’ Jay Bargmann will speak at the Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association’s (SEFA) 32nd Annual Meeting and Trade Show in Ft. Lauderdale.
Bargmann will give a presentation on the design, planning, and innovative construction of The Rockefeller University, Stavros Niarchos Foundation – David Rockefeller River Campus (2020 SEFA Lab of the Year Award Winner), a new laboratory, educational and campus life facilities that are accommodated in a horizontal expansion that bridges over an adjacent parkway in New York City and generously extends the University’s landmarked gardens to the edge of the East River.
The presentation will also highlight the fit out of the laboratories’ bollard system which provides the University with maximum flexibility for the reconfiguration of the laboratory bench, write-up, office, and support spaces.
