UCSF, Institute for Regeneration Medicine Wins CBE Livable Buildings Award

The Center for the Built Environment (CBE) Livable Buildings Award serves as a mark of distinction for commercial buildings. It is awarded each year to buildings that demonstrate livability, which we define as exceptional performance in terms of occupant satisfaction, resource efficiency, and overall design.

This year the jury selected the Viñoly designed – UCSF, Institute for Regeneration Medicine in San Francisco, as the winner of the 2013 Livable Buildings award. The project met the highest standards for providing healthy and productive indoor environments, and represent best practices for sustainability and overall design.
